Mosquito Joe of CT ShoreLine East is an independently and locally owned business. Our team is dedicated to bringing you and your family the best mosquito control service so that you can enjoy the outdoors.
Renee and Patrick Perdue
Prior to owning a Mosquito Joe with her husband Patrick, Renee Perdue was a teacher and later a principal in the south Bronx, New York. This passion for teaching evolved, and Renee developed a strong interest in serving her community and educating people about issues in the local area. Her desire to find options for protecting her family from ticks and the diseases they carry led her to learn more about Mosquito Joe and the services they provide.
Renee and Patrick decided to join the Mosquito Joe family, knowing that this company had the right focus- family and making outside fun again! Patrick is a veteran and shares a passion for keeping his family safe and educating others on mosquito and tick control. One of the best parts about owning a Mosquito Joe for Renee and Patrick is the ability to provide superior, customized service to help families enjoy their yards.
Our Team
Our Professional Field Technicians are not only CT DEEP certified, they are also trained under our MoJo model which includes programs like our Pollinators Protection Program! While knowing how to identify and eliminate mosquito and tick sources, our team is actively working to protect the beneficial insects within our environment.
Each team member treats your property like their own, taking great care and pride in the work we do. As parents, community members, and professionals our priority is to make outside fun again for you and families!
Jay-Client Success Associate & Professional Field Technician
Jay is a CT Shoreline native and graduate of Southern CT State University with a degree in Secondary Education. He shares a passion for learning and being outside, making him a perfect fit for our MoJo CT SLE Team! As a certified Professional Field Technician, Jay has experience in the field and more recently has joined our team in the office. When Jay is not focused on making outside fun again, he enjoys watching & playing sports, especially football, golf, and fishing. Regardless of the activity, Jay can be found spending time with family and friends! He is especially proud of his two older brothers, both Hometown Heroes in our book, serving in the US Military & the Police Department.
Devan, Professional Field Technician & Client Success Associate
Coming into his second year as a part of our Mosquito Joe CT Shoreline East Family, Devan is again excited to help all who want to MAKE OUTSIDE FUN AGAIN! His love for the outdoors and personal connection with our services (having had Lyme disease himself) translates into each interaction and his urgency for the highest quality experience for each and every property. Devan’s focused disposition and strong attention to detail often lead to recognition from clients served! When not servicing properties, Devan can be found cruising on the open road on his motorcycle and enjoying local hiking trails to share with friends and family in our community.
Melanie, Client Success Associate
With her positive spirit and desire to make a difference, Melanie is often the voice you hear when calling Mosquito Joe CT ShoreLine East in the evenings and weekends! A Navy Veteran, Melanie is disciplined and works hard to provide the most accurate information for clients, current and potential. She loves being a member of the team and spends her downtime outdoors hiking and kayaking with her financé.
Rochelle, Client Success Associate
Rochelle is quick to answer the phone and loves to share information with people-helping them to make educated decisions about the service they choose for themselves and their family! A true lover of animals and mom of doggies Sasha & Penny, Rochelle can be heard asking about different breeds and names of your pets. Rochelle continues her education and contribution to our community through ongoing Professional Fitness Training. With our team since its inception, Rochelle shares our mission to help make outside fun again for humans and pets!
Nicholas (aka Nick), Client Success Associate
Back with us for another season, Nicholas has stepped in seamlessly and is often taken as a seasoned member. As a UCONN student, he is immersed in environmental studies, knowing he desires to make a difference in the community and in our world. With two younger brothers and two Corgi doggies, Nick knows the importance of protecting one’s family from the dangerous pathogens carried by ticks, mosquitoes, and fleas. Nick enjoys spending time with his family, attending music venues/shows with friends, and eating carrots and bagels-although not together.
Devin (aka D.J.), Client Success Associate & Professional Field Technician
Devin, or DJ, is a proud mom of two young children with a passion for dancing and horseback riding. With a love of horses and being outside, DJ is a good compliment to our MoJo CT ShoreLine East Team! As the newest member of our team, DJ brings knowledge and field experience with her. Another fun fact is that DJ loves sweets and is a big fan of Tim Burton!
